Sales Policy for Purchase of Fowl

My policy is to sell the best that I can breed.  As this can only be accomplished by seeing and examining the final product, I will be holding some of the birds until the end of August.

At this time I will fill offer the birds that will not be used in my breeding program. This is also so that I may show some of these youngsters and see how they perform in the breeds world.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to ensure your commitment to purchase of birds. If the order cannot be completed due to lack of quality or lack of number of birds, health, etc. a full refund will be returned to purchaser.  All transactions will be in cash, or email money transfer only.

***All birds are guaranteed healthy prior to leaving the farm.   However, because I cannot control the stress of transportation and the quality of management or environment after they leave my care, I can not offer further health guarantees. As a measure of bio-security, any bird that has left the property, cannot be returned.  All shipping expenses and arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser. My request for this is that all animals are to be treated with care and respect and given the optimum amount of comfort to lessen the stress of transport.***

Hatching eggs will be shipped via Express Post at the expense of the purchaser.  An additional $5.00 will be added to the cost of shipping to cover the cost of shipping materials used. ie: popcorn foam, bubble wrap, extra layering around eggs etc. There is no charge for delivery to postal outlets.

                        ****Please NOTE****

At time of packaging and transport to postal outlet, condition of all eggs is my utmost priority in condition, determining fertility with test hatches and conditions for collections.  After leaving my posession and given to courier, all this is taken out of my hands and put into the care of thus courier.  I cannot control or be responsible for what happens during transport of the eggs.

Please Keep In Mind: I do my best to fill all orders, but it is always based on availability. My birds are not mass producers and their laying habits can change quite suddenly. Collection and incubation begins in January and depending upon hatch, weather conditions for collection, my amount of space in incubators and quality of the breed, I can only offer a certain number of young stock.

As I appreciate the person that is a backyard egg producer or a person in search of a pet. Pullets that are NOT up to my standards will be offered for sale at a discount price per bird. These young hens are meant to be used for layers, pets or meat only.  NO cockerels will be available in this category unless sold as straight run.

As of 2015, I have limited traffic and keep a safe standard of Bio-Security for the established flock of breeding fowl. I understand the need to see and inspect a bird prior to purchase as this is a commitment for a breeder or show person and an investment. Worming will be up to date on hatched and older birds.  If a certificate of health is required by the purchaser - the cost will be added to the price per bird. This includes any blood panels and vet inspection requested by the purchaser.

***I DO NOT ship outside of Canada.  The regulations for border crossing are as such that it is difficult and extremely stressfull on the birds to do so.***
